Marketing - Google Analytics

Add your Google GA4 tag to your website so you can track visits, add to carts, dropped carts and receive post purchase information to your Google Analytics account.

To retrieve your GA-4 tag:

1. Sign in to your Google Analytics Account
2. Click on Admin
3. At the top of the Property column, select your property
4. In the Property column, click on Data Streams
5. Click the data stream for which you need the ID
6. Your ''G-'' ID appears in the top right

Note that this is not the old UA- type analytics ID, this is the new G- type ID unique to GA-4.

Enabling this will add GA4 to your website and will also trigger the data layers for view product, add to cart, checkout and purchase events.

Note that you still need to go setup various triggers in tag manager. The event parameters that are supported at this time are:
- items
- transaction_id
- value
- tax
- shipping
- currency
- item_name
- price
