HEIC File Support for Windows 10 and 11

We fully support the HEIC file extension on our dakis kiosks, but you will need to add a few plugins from the Microsoft Store. Here's how you do it.

Open the Microsoft Store on the kiosk computers and search and install this app.  HEVC Video Extensions.
Then repeat the same process with HEIF Image Extensions.
Reboot the computer and test the kiosk with HEIC files.

NOTE: One of the two is not a free app. You will have to pay around 1$ for the app.  You can use the same Microsoft account on all your kiosks to avoid paying for the plugin multiple times.
