How to Export Your Data as CSV Files

Your mydakis account  allows you to export your data as CSV (Comma Separated Value) files, giving you a flexible way to build custom reports. Whether you need to review your product catalog, pull a list of recent orders, analyze payment history, or audit your customer database, the export process allows you to filter your data first and then download exactly what you need.

Important: You must be logged in as a BuyerAdmin, or Owner to complete an export. The Task History page, where completed export files are downloaded, is only accessible to these roles. Customer Service users do not have access.

Exporting Hardware Products

Your hardware products, cameras, accessories, and all other merchandise you sell online or in store, can be exported from the Hardware Products page.

Step 1: Navigate to the Hardware Products Page

In the left hand menu, first click  Catalog, next click on Hardware, then click on the Products option that opens in the drop down to navigate to the Hardware Products page.

Step 2: Filter Your Products

The export will only include the products currently visible on the page. If you do not apply any filters, the export will include your entire catalog.

Use search bar and the filters field at the top of the page to narrow down your results.

For example:

  • To export only products from a specific brand, select that brand from the Brand filter.
  • To export only your active products, set the State filter to Published.
Tip: When you delete a product in mydakis, it is not permanently removed, it's moved to an Unpublished state. To prevent old or discontinued products from appearing in your export, always set the State filter to Published before exporting. This takes just a moment and keeps your export clean.

Step 3: Configure and Start the Export

Click the  Export to CSV button.

A dialog will appear with the following options:

File Format: Select the format you would like for your export file.

Scheduled Date (Optional): Set a specific date and time for the export to reflect your data at that point (e.g., end of business day). The file will be delivered by email.

Email Recipient (Optional): Enter an email address to have the completed file sent directly to someone.
