Creating a BOGO - Photo Factory Shopping Cart Promotion
A BOGO - Photo Factory promotion will reduce the sub-total of an item if another item is purchased. This will affect only a selected product is another one is purchased. A BOGO - Photo Factory promotion can be tied up to a promotional code that the customer must enter during checkout. If you choose not to use a promotional code, all customers will get the promotion in their shopping cart.

The first step when creating a cart
promotion is to open the
Promotions tab of your MyDakis account.

Once on the my Promotions page, click
NEW under the Cart Promotions heading.

When clicking on new, a drop-down menu will appear showing the different kind of promotions you can offer. Click on
BOGO - Photo Factory.

In the next windows...
Display: Give a name to your promotion. Note that the text you enter under Display will also be displayed to the customer in their shopping cart during checkout.
Discount Percent (%): Type in the dollar value of your promotion.
Date Configuration: Set your begin and end date of the promotion. You can either type in the date or click on choose date to do it on a calendar.
Coupons: Check the coupon code you want to associate your promotion with. Leave uncheck if you do not want to associate your promotion with coupon code(s).
Memberships: Check the membership code you want to associate your promotion with. Leave uncheck if you do not want to associate your promotion with membership code(s).
Click the
SAVE button when finished.

You will be sent to your Photo Factory product list. Choose the product(s) the customer must purchase to get the promo. Note that if you select a category or a sub-category, all products within those categories will be available for the promotion. If individual product(s) is/are selected, only those products will fall under the promotion. In the example below, I chose to have all my calendars under the promotion. When finished, click on the
Save and go to next step button.

You will be sent to your Photo Factory product list again. This time, choose the product(s) the customer will get a discount on. Note that if you select a category or a sub-category, all products within those categories will be available for the promotion. If individual product(s) is/are selected, only those products will fall under the promotion. In the example below, I chose to offer a free Flip book. When finished, click on the
Save and back to promotion screen button.
NOTE: We suggest you set your being date to a past date, so you can test your promotion right away. If the tests are conclusive, set your begin date back to when the promotion begins.
