Photo Factory 09) Setting Product Weight

In this article, we will show you how to setup product category, product sub-category and individual product weight for shipping.

The first level at which you can set a specific weight is at the category level.

First, open the Photo Factory tab of your MyDakis account. This will bring you to your product catalog page.

To edit a category, click the edit button under the category to access the edit category page.

Once on this page, click on the weight tab to expand it.

You can then check the use specific weight box and enter the desired product weight.

The next level at which you can set weight is at the sub-category level.

On the product catalog page, click on the edit button associated with the sub-category you want to edit.

Once on the edit category page, click on the weight tab to expand it.

After checking the use specific weight box, you will be able to enter the desired weight for the whole sub-category.

The last level at which you can edit a product weight is at the item level.

After opening the product catalog page, click on the number under the published section of the sub-category to access all the products you are offering.

From the sub-category page, you can then go and edit individual products by clicking the edit button.

Once on the product page, scroll down until you find the weight tab. You can then click it to expand it.

To use a specific weight, check the box and enter the desired product weight. Once this is done, click the save button.
